A Church Built on Ministry
At My Father’s Vineyard, our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can encounter God in a life-changing way. Our doors are open to everyone, regardless of your background or where you may be on your spiritual journey. We are a life-giving church focused on bringing life and love to individuals and families through powerful worship, relevant preaching, practical biblical truth, and outreach to our community. But we are more than just a Sunday church. Through ministry, discipleship, and life together, we build real, lasting relationships and help people Connect With God and Connect With Others. Together, we strive to be the kind of church we see described in the Bible: a church marked by genuine fellowship, authentic worship, biblical teaching, consistent prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. Whether you’ve never stepped foot in a church, are searching for answers, or are a committed follower of Jesus looking to grow deeper in your faith, there is a place for you at My Father’s Vineyard. Wes & Cynthia Alvarez
Pastor Wes Alvarez is the Lead Pastor of My Father’s Vineyard Church in Pensacola, Florida. Pastor Wes and Cynthia married in 1993, and together they founded My Father’s Vineyard Church in their home in 2003. After experiencing freedom from drug addiction, Pastor Wes fully surrendered his life to Jesus Christ in 2001. At that time, he began sharing his testimony and the message of deliverance, hope, and restoration in jails and rehabs. Pastor Wes was ordained in 2007 and has faithfully led the church in its mission to recover the lost and restore the fallen since 2003. Pastor Wes holds degrees in Theology and Christian Counseling and is passionate about helping people discover the transforming power of a relationship with Jesus Christ. Cynthia serves as the worship leader for MFV, along with supporting and leading other ministries within the church. Together, their passion is to serve and help others discover the forgiveness, restoration, and freedom that comes from a life fully surrendered to Jesus.

OUR LEADERSHIP
Led with accountability.
At My Father’s Vineyard, we believe healthy church leadership should be rooted in service, integrity, and accountability. Our pastoral leadership team, led by Pastor Wes and Pastor Cynthia Alvarez, oversees the ministry and spiritual direction of the church while serving and caring for the people of MFV. Our pastors do not lead alone. At MFV, we are guided by Pastors, protected by Trustees, and strengthened by an Overseer. Our Trustees provide oversight and counsel regarding the church’s finances and major commitments, while our Overseer provides spiritual counsel, protection, and accountability to our pastoral leadership. Together, this structure helps ensure that MFV is led faithfully, responsibly, and with accountability.
